Songs Heard in Migros

This addition to the blog may be more for our sake than yours, but we needed a way to log one of our favorite treats. So we are keeping a list of the songs we hear in our favorite grocery store. We are not sure if they turn this music on when we come in as a way to keep the foreigners in the store or if it's a staple. Don't laugh, they do this at some of the restaurants. The best thing is that no one in the store knows what they are singing about except us. So it's really funny when a song from the likes of Mariah Carey, Madonna, or Michael Jackson comes on. (See list on right)

Is Summer of '64 a prelude to Bryan Adam's other classic Summer of '69? Or is it some sort of modern techno remix? Either way, if it's half as good, I'd love to hear it!

mSo, the taxi drivers here always try to switch it to an English station for us. So, yesterday on the way home from Carrefour, we were able to hear some Pink and some Kelly Clarkson!! Fabulous. We actually hear a lot of American music and just laugh for the same reason: They have NO CLUE what its about.
