Landrum has been up to all sorts of new things lately, most importantly - growing. While we were in Dallas she went through a growth spurt - since then she has been packing on the pounds! Jared weighed her last week and we think she is at least 13 lbs! What a big girl! She is also sitting in her bumbo now, reading books in her chair, and doing plenty of tummy time! It is hard to believe our baby is growing so fast! In fact, last Sunday I sent her to the nursery at church for the first time - she did GREAT, my stomach hurt the entire service!! I sent her back again today - she really enjoys Sunday School!
On another note we are headed to the Neshoba County Fair next week. We will be there for an entire week. Landrum is really geared up for her first fair! More to come on those adventures!

Hey Hey! Beautiful baby alert. This is Courtney from AK. How are you?
Hey, folks! Just wanted to say that you have a beautiful baby girl! I have checked your blog from Katie/Craig's several times, but didn't have time to comment. Sounds like all is going well with you...that's great. We'll be looking in on you again soon. Take care.

Hey Jayme. Spraypainting is easy, but takes patience. First you have to sand the piece, not to get all the paint off, but enough to rough it up so the paint will stick. And be sure to wash it well after you sand. Then spray a coat of primer (dark primer if you picked a dark color), several if needed. Then spray several coats of color, then apply at least 3 coats of clear coat on top of that. In between all of the coats, if you have runs or rough spots, sand them off with a piece of light grain sandpaper. If you do that your final clear coat should be smooth and shiny. You can buy all sorts of fun colors now - we got our oiled bronze from Home Depot. I sprayed all of our light fixtures, tp rolls, towel racks, knobs..I'm even going to spray the frame of one of our bathroom mirrors. I think door handles would be tricky because of the moving parts, but anything that doesn't move is fair game, in my opinion. It doesn't take spray paint long to dry, so although there are quite a few steps, you can get a piece done in several hours if you're consistent with it. Just be sure to do it outside or in the garage, because the fumes are terrible.
And if you're looking to replace door hardware too, I found several sites online when I was looking that have oiled bronze and brushed nickel knob sets for under $10, much cheaper than the big guys.
Good luck, and we'll be seeing you before too long. We're moving to MS end of August. We'll be living with my parents for awhile, but hope to buy or build in the reservoir area if we can sell our house here. Don't you guys live in Brandon now too?
